An ash base rail is a beautiful and functional addition to any staircase or architectural project. Known for its strength and durability, ash wood is a popular choice among artisans due to its attractive grain and light colour, which can suit both modern and traditional designs. The process of crafting a base rail involves meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that each piece is unique and tailored to the specific requirements of the space it will occupy.
This labour-intensive method not only enhances the aesthetic appeal but also allows for customization in terms of dimensions and design, such as intricate carvings or smooth finishes. The resulting base rail not only serves as a sturdy support for balusters but also adds a touch of elegance and craftsmanship to your home or building.
